9 questions with The COD Goblin

Well folks, this is what Khaos News is all about. News and promo for local gaming heroes right here in Australia and New Zealand. As our first guest streamer. Im stoked to introduce the Cod Goblin. I've been gaming with the Cod Goblin since Call of Duty Vanguard (2021). Since then we've had many laughs, a few tiffs and even caught up for beers a few times. And I'm still glad to call him a mate and highly recommend you drop in and give him a watch, a follow and even a sub from time to time. I sat down to ask him a few questions about himself as a person and a streamer. And one last thing before we get into it, the track above was produced by none other than the man himself. Check out our conversation below.

1) top 3 games of all time?

This one is a hard one, because I don’t exactly have a top per say, as a gamer since I was little there’s a few games that hold a special place in my heart that I’ve gone back to and played over the years with the same level of enjoyment and they’re all quite old. Firstly I’m going to have to say Age Of Empires is a tie between the first and second game, I’ve had countless all nighters playing that game and would happily do it again.

Second would have to be The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time. It was one of those games you get so immersed in for the first time as a child, and no matter how many times I play the nostalgia and magic still remains.

Third I’m going to give Half life and the expansions in particular Opposing Forces, there was something badass about dropping into a science facility as a marine and fighting your way out. What a story!

Some Honourable mentions: GTA3, Vice City Stories, Half Life 2, & Halo

2) 2 games you're looking forward to coming out this year?

Obviously the Ocarina of Time remake, I can’t wait to be taken back into that world polished and revived with new graphics but also MW4, I’m a CoD fiend.

3) Fave Aussie or NZ streamer (other than you)?

I don’t really watch too many streamers and those I do are American, so when we say Aussie I’ll have to say Megzy95 had some good laughs listening to the squad banter.

4) Other than your family, top 3 priorities in the event of a Zombie apocalypse?

hmmm this is a good one because it’s something I’ve thought about before and the logical thing to do would be stock up on fuel, water, food and GTFO of dodge. But priorities, stay fit, stay safe, survive.

5) Favourite book?

Matthew Reilly Ice Station. It would’ve been the first fiction novel I read that introduced me to Scarecrow and the series.

6) Favourite quote?

The ability to speak does not make you intelligent- Qui Gon

7) worst thing that happened to you this year (that your happy talking about)

I guess losing a client would be up there, the immediate impact is never good. However, I’ve always been determined to come out of a bad situation with my head up. These things happen and if we endure new doors will open, and they have.

8) Final meal if you find yourself on death row?

Smorgies Buffet - they better deliver.

9) If you could have dinner with anyone alive or dead, who would it be and why?

Perhaps not the most exciting answer but it’s close to home. Probably my Grandmother or as we called her Mama, I have very fond memories of our meal times and miss our English breakfasts dearly. Otherwise, Jesus, he can turn water into wine and I’d run our taps to fill enough bottles for a lifetime.
